I'm a software weenie, mostly UNIX and firmware. I consider myself a toolsmith, but only to the extent that it helps out my everyday tasks. Fundamentally, I love working hard to save myself work. Go figure.

Background

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, a sunny island in the Caribbean. From there, I went to study in upstate New York. I lived and worked in Massachusetts and Northern California before settling down in Los Alamos, New Mexico, in 1994.

Interests

I enjoy hiking and the outdoors, cooking, reading, Flying, Amateur Radio, laughing, music, and--of course--coding.
